And so, RetroAudio was born
While moving, founder Alex unearthed a box of CDs from 20 years ago in a closet.
He picked up one at random and, as he examined the scratches on the cover in the light, suddenly recalled his teenage days—rushing into record stores after school and running his fingers along row after row of albums.
He slipped the CD into an old, long-discontinued player. The moment the music began to play, the room was filled not just with sound, but with warmth, scent, and his entire youth.
In that moment, he realized: digital music has given us an infinite library of songs, but it has quietly taken away the ritual of “owning an album.”
